They call me "The Early Bird" and here is why:

I'm awake when the sun catches the sky.

I don't wait for dusk, and I don't give a hoot,

that's for the nightowl and what makes her cute.

And I don't really care what they say about worms;

after all, it's their body, not mine, that squirms!

I just spread my wings and fly up high,

 riding the wind and surfing the sky.

Then I return to my comfortable nest

and play with computers, what I like best!!

Except when it storms, and then I am hiding,

because sometimes the weather just isn't obliging.

But God made a promise He keeps to this day;

so I know before long, I'll be on my way.
